Hello, I would like to thank you for your contribution(s)to the Message Board. But something was incorrect with your most recent post(s) to the boards on Ancestry.com/RootsWeb.com FYI: Please do not use a slash (/) to separate surnames in the surname field. This confuses the search engine. The system accepts a comma and a space only. This field is for surnames only. Please do not include any other verbiage such as "family." I have corrected the error so if you review your post you will find the corrected message and not the original. For a complete set of Message Board Guidelines please see: http://jasche.com/boards.html NOTE: At the bottom of each message board page there are links to MESSAGE BOARD RULES and MESSAGE BOARD FAQ. Each of these links will provide you with official instructions. The purpose of this email is instructional. In no way is it meant to admonish or offend you. These instructions are to help keep the message board search engine be more efficient for future researchers. (These are not my rules but that of ancestry/rootsweb.com, and have been in place for a number of years.) It's possible that you have used the boards for many years and no one has ever written to you. Board admins have different ways of taking care of the boards. This is simply my way of helping to keep the message board search engine efficient. This message is not being sent to you by a computer, but by a real live human being using a computer. ;-) Thanks for your contribution to genealogy.
