Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZVC.2ACE/130.1983.2001.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I am interested in your Meyer Family My Great Grandfather was Franz Thielen from Germany, married to a Whilhelmina Roon, their son Franz Thielen my Grandfather was born 1879 in Brunschweig but as i know lived in Grasleben Germany he came to Australia in 1905 do you have any other info on this family as i am at a loss to find any info and i believe their could have been a name change, my Grandfather used on his papers Von Thielen /and Von Thiele, but he was not heard of after 1918 when he was released from an internment camp here in Australia there are no death record here that i can find, it is a real mystery as to what happened to him, and i can not find any info on his Parents Best Regards Patricia
