We have some similarities and I'd like to compare notes.... My William Frerking 1845-1904 is also from Hanover, came to Dearborn County, In. mid-eighties. Family story says there was family in Illinois although I have never been able to link with anyone there. William married Eliza Leffler in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn, and later resided in Cincinnati, Ohio, had seven daughters and one son.
