My Kahrs ggggrandfather, Ernest Hermann (Heinrich) Kahrs, emigrated from Ottersberg Hannover to Hoboken, NJ in 1846 and married Rebecca Adelheid Mueller in 1850 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Matthew in NY, NY.
