My father has further information. Two brothers of my grandfather Hinrich von Ahn, their names were Walter and Georg, went to the US in 1923.

Basically to Karinvonahn I am trying to find ancestors in Balji. My ggrandfather was born there Apr 17, 1820. His godparents were Martin Mahler and Anne Sophie nee Thumann. His name was Christian Frederick Mahler. He was married in Belum.It is difficult to get information even though we have traveled to the area. But with only a short time to search personally in the area we are still searching. Thanks for any and all help.
