Dear All, I'm a new subscriber to the list. I'm looking for any living relatives or information of a Jack (John?) Nicholls last known to be in Eastbourne around 1930. His first wife was Agnes Maud Mary Nicholls (nee Chapman) with whom he had one daughter - my grandmother - Joan Daphne Nicholls (Married name Sparks), b 26-10-23. Jack and Agnes divorced and he moved, as I mentioned, to Eastbourne thereafter - I'm guessing at around 1930-ish - my grandmother said it all happened when she was still a child. I believe that he was also from there originally (he lived in London while married to Agnes). My grandmother was told that he remarried and had further children and as she is an only child so to speak (her mother disallowed contact with her father), we would be more than happy to know if any of her brothers or sisters are still alive and would like to get in touch with her.
