She was born January 11, 1852, daughter of Benjamin Nicholls and Elizabeth Derrick. In 1872, she married Alfred Thomas Skidmore and had 6 children, 4 or whom moved to Canada. After her husband died in 1890, all traces of her have ended even though she had a newborn baby.
