I'm using GenoPro to collate the data and for obtaining printouts for my surviving relatives - a few prints have jogged some memories and thus advanced the cause... My search has stalled on the parents of my great-grandfather William NICHOLLS b.1890 ish d. 1965 m.1910 to Alice ATKINSON (we think) b.1891 d. 1974. The NICHOLLS family seem to come from Longton/Dresden (Staffordshire). While that's underway, I'm also looking at my mother's side NEALE and have got to my great-grandfather and his wife; Richard NEALE b.1884 d. 1961 married to Winifred Maud HEATH b.1887 d.1947. Marriage date unknown. They resided in Longton, Fenton and Biddulph (Staffs again). I'll be visiting Hanley Library later in Nov' to book a session in their Parish records to see if I can get any further - but any info. anyone can provide me with is appreciated...
