    2. Researching descendants of Henry Nichols/Nichols, baptized 2-19-1804 in Gulvall, St. Ives Parish, Cornwall, England. His parents were Andrew Nichols/Nicholls and Ann Brush. Henry married Elizabeth Richards on 6-26-1830 in Ury Lelart, Cornwall. She was born on 12-30-1804 to Richard Richards and Elizabeth Polkinghorn in Breage, Cornwall. Henry immigrated to U. S. in 1847 and settled in Mineral Point, Iowa Co., WI. In 1848, he sent for Elizabeth and their 7 children. The family settled on a farm in British Hollow, Grant Co., WI where they lived for 7 years. In 1855, they moved to Eagle River, Keweenaw Co., MI where Henry worked as a miner. In 1856, he became the first casualty of the Central Mine having died in a mining accident in No. 2 shaft. Henry and Elizabeth had the following children: Henry (b. 1831 and married Eliza J.), Elizabeth (b. 1832 and married James Mitchell), Mary (b. 1857, died young?), Andrew (b. 1839 and married Mary Jane Harris/Ann Warmington/Mar! y Jane Richards), Alice (b. 1842 and married Emanuel Broad), Sarah A.(b. 1844 and married James E. Elliott), and Susan (b. 1847 and married William Richards). Any info. on these folks is welcome and appreciated! THANKS!
