Mandy, In your research for the Nicholls lines have you come across Arthur Nicholls born 1842 Norwich, Norfolk later moved to Cambridge and then to the Isle of Wight, or his father John Nicholls who was a builder/architech. Hi Bob, I'm afraid at this stage there seems to be no connection. My NICHOLLS families were from the early 1800's all in Fordham Cambridge, and before that from the Worlington/Freckenham area of Suffolk. The earliest I have traced is my 4xGGrandfather Benjamin NICHOLLS b. around 1767 (unconfirmed), he married his first wife in Freckenham, Suffolk.
