I am new to all of this. My father JOHN LEONARD NICHOLLS, born ca. 1900/1901 had about 10 brothers/sisters. Father was, so I believe, Harry Nicholls. Wife was named BANKS (Associated with Greengrocery business). Brought up in poverty, Lambeth area of South London. Mother died ca. 1910 in childbirth. All children put in orphanages. Father (HARRY NICHOLLS) died of alcoholism ca. 1946 (Remarried). Much doubt about ages, dates of birth as HARRY NICHOLLS frequently failed to register birth of children. When he did so, he often lied about dates of birth as criminal offence not to register with certain time. David Nicholls
