Mine's also a vague one! My grandmother is Joan Daphne Sparks, nee Nicholls born 1923. Her Dad was Jack possibly aka Johnathon Nicholls. He married Agnes Chapman b 1897 and my grandmother is their only child. They divorced when she was young (10??) and he then went back to Eastbourne, Sussex apparently his home town where he is supposed to have remarried and had more children. My grandmother would dearly love to contact these siblings of hers or their children. It's a long shot!
