I am not doing too well with my Nicholls family. Daniel Nicholls married Mary Lyddieth on 15th October, 1849 at St Nicholas in Liverpool. Daniel's residence was Struckland St and Mary's was Fox St. His father was William and her parents were James Lyddieth and Maria Rushton. Witnesses at the marriage were Robert and Margaret Lyddieth The first child, George, born but I have no details of where or when and I would love to find any information on this child. The next event I have is the second child, James (my g grandfather), being born in Gundagai, Australia in 1864. The gap is 15 years. I do have information to hand that Daniel and Mary were on the 1851 Census as was her Mother, Maria and her children Robert and Margaret - no mention of her husband, James. Maria is on the 1881 Census living with her daughter Margaret, her husband and their children, but by this time Daniel and Mary would have been in Australia.
