I received your e mail, looking for George Nicholls, I have been searching for the family of Walter and Harriet Nicholls, they were 39 in 1901. Last known address was 18 Lordship Road, Cheshunt, in Hertfordshire. Walter Nicholls was born in Oxfordshire at Steeple Aston. Harriet in Epping. They lived in Cheshunt and had nine children, Annie Rosley, Emily and Kate were born in Epping, the rest were Hilda, Harry, Walter Fred V. and my father Ben. Victor Nicholls. My father came to Canada around the year 1925 or 1926. He met my mother,Gladys Crisp, and were married in 1926. They had three children, I am the middle one. Our nother died in 1931. Our dad remarried a lady name Daisy, also English, then he disappeared.I know nothing else about him. Perhaps there is a connection with your family.
