When I posted my query on the mail-list I was sure I had the right name for my g-grndmother, Cecilia. Yesterday I received a copy of a marriage cert, for Cecilia's mother and father and it shows that the surname spelling is NICHOLDS. As they were married in Shiffnal, Shrop. I have to assume that that is where they came from. Sorry for the confusion. I am going to repost on the list today with the correction. All the best, Alan, Bridge Lake BC Can. >-----Original Message----- >From: Al Cooper <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] <[email protected]> >Date: Sunday, January 14, 2001 1:06 PM >Subject: [NICHOLLS] Cecilia Nicholls > > >>Hi Listers.
