Hello, I am new to the list and I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I am seeking any further information about Archibald Nicolls/Nicholls, born c.1845 in Ireland and but unsure when/where he died but it was before the 1900 US Census when his wife was listed as a widow, who married Ann Hunt in 1870 at Mohill, and any of their children. They had seven children all born in Ireland: Arthur James (who m. Margaret E. McCormick), James (who m. Margaret - ?), Fannie Jane (who m. James Williamson), Robert Christopher (who m. Mary Eleanor Graham), Sara Anne (who m. John George Hoy), Thomas William, Margaret/Maggie and Archibald Hunt. Archibald and Ann and all their children emigrated to Manhattan, NY between 1886 and 1896 where the various children got married and had their own children. I have most of them in the Census for various years but I am hoping the above information will ring a bell with someone. Regards, Alistair (London, England)
