    2. Other subscribers are more likely to help you if you make it as easy as possible. Give us the information you have that will enable someone to do a lookup. For instance, from what resource have you gleaned the dates of their births? If birth certificates, it would be worthwhile to give us a little more info from them. Do you know in which counties Daniel and Mary were born? Do you know when/if they were married? When did they move to the U.S.? Walter J. NICHOLLS was born in N. Windsor. Where is N. Windsor (is it in Wisconsin, U.S.?) and when was he born? Best wishes, Lynne List Administrator [email protected] wrote: > I'm looking for the following: > Dan'l. D. 1. [NICHOLLS] Lancashire, England, Record Office
    2. News from the Federation of Family History Societies, forwarded with permission: Yesterday we publicised a change in the opening hours of Lancashire Record Office, based on an announcement made by that Office. Tony Foster (Chairman of Lancashire Family History & Heraldry Society) has since advised me that, for several years, the Office has been closed during the first full week of each month. That practice has changed as part of the change in opening hours from the beginning of September, and it will now remain open during that week in the normal way.
