Hi, I am new to your list and I have a couple of questions. I am not accustomed to having to work with a county that was formed from another so, I need to get the birth and married documents for Calvin RICHARDSON. He was born in Swanzey on 17 July 1790 and married Nancy STREETER on 10 Nov. 1810. Would I be able to write to the town clerk in Sullivan County for those docs. or would I have to write to Chesire County? Second question: Once I know which county clerk or town clerk to write to, whom do I write the check out to? It did not specify on the genweb pages for Vital Stats.
