Hi Rooters, For those who are researching ancestors in Sullivan County, New Hampshire, and specifically Newport, I have set up a web page which I'm hoping will eventually contain records that will make your search easier. I've started with the Newport cemetery indexes, and have posted the following to my web page: Pine Street East Cemetery (Newport's oldest cemetery) Pine Street West Cemetery Northville Cemetery Maple Street Cemetery Addendum to Maple Street Cemetery With the exception of Maple Street, the information posted includes the grave number, name of the deceased, age at death, date of death and whatever other information was available, such as maiden names, birth dates, name of spouse and parents. (The information varies on each person) The Maple Street Cemetery contains only the names of the deceased, although the addendum includes some dates. Newport has two other cemeteries which I will post as time permits. I have included the 1790 census (although that is available elsewhere) and some informatio about Newports role in the American Revolution. Since I live in Sullivan County, many records are available to me and this is my attempt to do my bit to increase the searchable genealogy records online. When I have finished with Newport I intend to begin posting records from Claremont, Charlestown, Grantham and other towns in Sullivan County.
