Hi! I am writing to inquire about the Sullivan County Alms House, which I assume was a sort of nursing home for the poor. My great, great grandfather died there in the 1920s. I believe that the Alms House was in Unity -- it this true? Is the building still standing? Are there any public records available regarding the history and/or the individuals who were admitted to the Alms House? I look forward to reading any responses! Jonathan Lamy
