Good Afternoon, I don't know how many records are still available for the 1600's, but, if the information is available, I am looking for a little help. I think Richard MORGAN was born in New Hampshire, but he may have immigrated to New Hampshire from Wales. He was born about 1638. He was married to Rebecca Holdreidge 21 May 1660 in Exeter, New Hampshire. Rebecca was born 1643 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Richard died 22 Feb 1711 or 1712. My Grandmother told me that our family in that region were all Puritans and she said that many of our Ancestors sat on Jury's for the Witch trials. I don't know if it's true or not, but, I am wondering about how to research that out, as well as immigration information for that period of time. Were the Witch trial exclusive to Massachusetts, or did they go on through out the Colonies? I live in California, so I can't go to the local library and don't know how much good it would do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Barbara Ann Phillips bphil4@earthlink.net
