I've "rescued" an old photograph of Willard & Alice EATON which was taken at the Preble Studio in Waterville, Maine. The photograph is dated 1900 with the couple appearing to be in their 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information: Willard Carr EATON was b. 19 Dec 1873 in Solon, ME to parents Llewllyn EATON and Almeda ROWELL. Willard d. Sept 1962 in ME. Son Bernet L. EATON b. 11 Dec 1908 in Skowhegan, ME d. during military service at Fort Jackson, SC on 19 Nov 1941. His death certificate lists his parents as Willard C. EATON b. Somerset, ME and Alice CASE also born Somerset, ME. At the time of his death his Mother was living in Skowhegan, ME. Census records provide the following information: 1880 census of Solon, ME: Llewellyn EATON, age 43, a Farmer, born ME, parents born ME Almeda EATON, wife, age 42, Keeping House, born ME, parents born ME Alvra W. EATON, son, age 12, at School, born ME Willard C. EATON, son, age 6, at School, born ME 1880 census of Cornville, ME: Oliver H. CASE, age 34, a Farmer, born ME, parents born ME Amanda CASE, wife, age 42, Keeping House, born ME, parents born ME Alice CASE, dau, age 7, born ME Arvin CASE, father, age 72, Farming, born ME, parents born ME 1900 census of Somerset, ME: Levi D. ROWELL, age 68, born Feb 1832, married 38 years, born ME, parents born ME, a Farmer Mary S. ROWELL, wife, age 60, born Jun 1839, married 38 years, no children, born ME, parents born NH/ME Willard C. EATON, nephew, age 26, born Dec 1873, married 2 years, born ME, parents born ME, a Farmer Alice M. EATON, niece, age 27, born Jun 1872, married 2 years, no children, born ME, parents born ME 1910 census of Skowhegan, ME: Willard C. EATON, age 35, married 11 years, born ME, parents born ME, a House Carpenter Alice M. EATON, wife, age 37, married 11 year, 2 children/2 living, born ME, parents born ME Dona A. EATON, dau, age 7, born ME Bernet L. EATON, dau, age 1 year + 5 months, born ME 1920 census of Rockingham Co. NH: Willard G. EATON, age 46 Alice C. EATON, age 47 Doris A. EATON, age 17 Barnet L. EATON, age 11 (now shown as a male child) 1930 census of Skowhegan, ME: Willard C. EATON, age 56 Alice M. EATON, age 57 Doris A. EATON, age 27 Bernet L. EATON, age 21 Oliver H.
