There was a town in New Hampshire, called Great Falls. It split into two towns, Somersworth and Rollinsford. They are on the Maine border. That part of Maine is in York county. So, I am sure that Somersworth was erroneously listed as being in York County, Maine. On the Maine side, Berwick abuts Somersworth. VRs of Berwick have been published, including the church records. I have the marriage registers for the two Catholic churches in Somersworth. Neither lists any Milton or Trickey. I did not find William in the 1850 or 1860 censuses. Where was he, and under which surname? If Francis was born in Maine, the record would be with the Town Clerk. The state did not start keeping vital records until 1892.
