I know he married twice: 1) Olive Pierce (1790-1834), after that he married 2) Pheba Moody (1799-1883). The second marriage date was November 1837 in Rochester, NH after the death of his first wife. I tracked William and his second wife to Lincoln, Maine in 1840 census. I am looking to see if they may have had a son named Francis A (Franklin A) Trickey/Milton born in 1844. Franklin is my 3x great grandfather and I have not been able to prove who Franklin A Milton's parents are. Franklin lived with William Tyler Trickey/Milton and Pheba, but also with them is Thomas (William's son from first marriage) on census of 1850 and 1860. It is possible that Francis/Franklin could be the son of William from his second marriage or perhaps he is Thomas Milton's son from an unknown marriage. From what I can gather according to Franklin's Civil War Papers, hi! s given name was Francis and he was born in Somersworth, York County, Maine which is so close to NH that perhaps his parents were living in either place. Anyone have any research pointers for me?? I will take any leads!! Thanks, Janice Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
