I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mabel and Arnold RASMUSSEN which was taken at the Butler Studio in Salinas, CA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with the two children appearing to be about 3-5 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding the children and their family: Arnold Harry RASMUSSEN was b. 4 Jan 1892 in Chualar, CA to parents Carl Anthon RASMUSSEN (b. 1867 in Denmark-d. 1918) and Johanna "Hannah" "Hanna" "Annie" FROST (b. 1870 in California). This couple had a total of 8 children including Arnold Harry; Mabel Christine; Myrtle; Elmer; Christina; Jessiemiena "Jessie" "Jessica" E.; Edna Carla; and Dorothy RASMUSSEN all born between 1892 and 1910. Arnold married Sarah Lucy BROWN (1896-1980) and together they had a daughter, Arlene Lucille RASMUSSEN (1922-1995) and a son, Arnold H. RASMUSSEN Jr. (1924-1997). Arnold Sr. died 31 Jan 1943 in Portsmouth, NH. Mabel was b. 19 Dec 1894 in California and died 9 April 1964 in Santa Clara, CA. She may have married into the WILSON Family.
