Dear Bagley Descendant, You should consult the only good and quite complete genealogy on the Bagley family entitled, "Some Descendants of Orlando Bagley of Amesbury, Massachusetts," by Martha (Bagley) Anderson and Norton Russell Bagley (1973). There is a copy at the New England Historic Genealogical Society, 101 Newbury Street, Boston, Mass. 02116-3007, and (I think) at the New Hampshire Historical Society, 30 Park Street, Concord, N.H. 03301. The Henry Bagley you mention, born in Amesbury, Mass., on 25 Aug. 1711, is No. 30 in that genealogy. I have photocopies of a few pages of it, but do not have the page showing Henry's family. He died on 24 Aug. 1776, and there is an estate for him in Rockingham County, N.H., probate records, so the genealogy says. Sorry I cannot tell you more, but I am sure that the above-mentioned genealogy will provide adequate documentation and information to enable you to make the connection. Henry was Henry4 Bagley, son of Orlando3 (Orlando2-1) and Dorothy (Harvey) Bagley of Amesbury. Best wishes.
