In the book "History of the Town of Rye.....", reprint published by Heritage Books, Inc. 1992, the Rand genealogy on page 499 states that :Francis Rand married Christina ----------. He was killed by the Indians at Sandy Beach Sept. 29, 1691. His will was dated 1689, and proved Feb. 19, 1691-92.
