Hi Everyone, I am seeking verification and information. I just learned that the parents of Joanna BROWN (b. 12/10/1736 and wife of Samuel HOYT of Hopkinton, NH) may have been Jonathan BROWN (b. 2/24/1700, Hampton, NH) and Joanna Abbey (Abba) (b. 11/15/1706, Exeter, NH) -- daughter of Joseph ABBEY & Abigail SEVERANCE of Salisbury, MA. Here are my questions: 1. Does anyone know if this information is correct and can be verified? 2. Does anyone have any ancestral information about Joseph Abbey & Abigail Severance (such as pertinent dates, names of parents, other children, etc.)? 3. Does anyone know who Jonathan BROWN's parents were? 4. If this information is not readily available, can you suggest sources where I may be able to find verification? (I live down south and do not have access to New England resources.) I am posting this query to three lists in hopes of generating a response or two. For you 'multiple listers,' I ask your patience.
