The addendum of Virginia Hufbauer's book on desc of John Knowles provides info that John & Jemima Austen/Austin Knowles 1st son, John Knowles, Jr., m Susanna Lawrence b 3 Jul 1667 at Groton (likely Groton, Middlesex Co., MA), d 17 Oct 1745 at Hampton, d/o Susanna Bachelder (d/o William Bachelder & Jane Cowper) & John Lawrence. John's wife was apparently originally thought to be Susanna Page. LDS Ancestral file(s) also make the linkup between Susanna Lawrence and John Knowles.
