Group: I'm glad this came up as it is a valuable idea for serious genealogical hunters .... I've been doing it unconsciously for many years .... only passing out my law office cards instead. Instead of hiring a commercial printer as I do e.g. $25 per 1000 one can use "Avery" business cards, print your name and address e/mail and fax and phone on one side like a regular business card: on the back include the lines you are researching or to which you are connected. Use either a business card program to prepare 10 at a time or use Office 97 or Word Perfect 98 (my preferred) which contain label printing sections therein. The more I think about this idea, the better it is. many people doen't have them. When you get home from a field trip, you have cards with notes on them and needn't worry about finding, your notes.
