I have just spent 15 more hours in Fort Wayne, IN, at the Allen Co. Library researching my ever elusive Mary Bean ( born in Candia, Rockingham Co., NH; married True Thrasher in Deerfield, NH, in June of 1809; died August 6, 1866, in Delaware Co., OH). I have not been able to pinpoint the correct parents for her. There seem to be hundreds of Mary Beans, but most of them I can rule out. I started making a list of possible parents for her. First on my list in Reuben Bean and Joanna Dudley, living in Candia in 1790 with three sons and three daughters, all born in Candia. According to John Bean of Exeter, the sons' names are Moses, Reuben, and Dudley. The daughters' names are not given. Does anyone have information concerning the daughters - or any other information that might lead me to my Mary Bean? Many, many thanks! Betty A.
