    3. Hi Betty, There is a unique manuscript collection on early Candia families at the Candia Public Library (can't remember the author). It is very good, and as far as I know has never been microfilmed or copied in extenso. Perhaps the library staff would photocopy the Bean section, for example, for you. Try giving them a phone call (not sure of their hours, so keep trying). It's a small country library and not open all the time. I think this manuscript might help you.
