    1. Campbells, Rocklin Co., 1730s - 1800?

    3. I have a hand written genealogy that lists three generations of my Campbell family living in Rocklin Co. The first generation is supposed to be Henry Campbell, b. 1697, d. 1782, Windham, NH, m. Martha Black, emigrated in 1733 from Londonderry, Ireland. Son John was b. 1758, in Windham, d. 1820, m. Betsy Moore. John was supposedly a Revolutionary War veteran, serving at Bunker Hill, Lexington and Ticonderoga. John's son, James, was b. in 1789, either in Rocklin Co. or in Merrimack Co, m. Mary Bagley. He moved to Pittstown, Rensselaer Co., NY, where he is buried. Can anyone verify any of this Campbell information? I don't know who wrote the genealogy from which I got this information, so I don't know what I can believe. Thanks, Scott Herrington
