Sorry that some of you will see this message several times but I need to cover the area that may have an answer to my problem I am looking for the town where Leavitt was born: Leavitt C. Sherburne born 24 Nov 1784 "in NH" Leavitt was in Eastport, Maine sometime between 1795-1815. He married Lucretia Handy/Handi from St. Andrews,NB,Canada, on 20 Oct 1816. Leavitt and Lucretia lived and died in Eastport,Maine. Leavitt died March 1848 and Lucretia , June 1891 Suspect that he may have been from southern NH as we have other families from southern NH who migrated to northern Maine during this time frame. Actually he could be from any where in NH. Any help in solving this riddle would be appreciated. Cynthia
