    3. The library of Congress has a lot of downloadable information including maps at:<http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/ammemhome.html> Another site is <http://www.nh.com/legacy/hismapof/index.shtml> These are very detailed Birds Eye views of many NH towns and worth the time to download. You will have to Down load the MrSIDS viewer but it's free. They are in ,sid formate but you can convert to .tif . A typical 2MB sid will be about 150MB in .tif, however the size is about four or five feet. Once you resize to something more resonable and save as .jpg you can get it down to 1 to 2 MB. Keep searching, I'm still amazed at the amount of info on the internet I can get. And I'm on the other side of the Atlantic! > Subject: Maps and such > Date: Tue, 20 Apr 1999 09:45:54 -0500 > From: Ellen Bisson <thebissons@worldnet.att.net> > To: NHROCKIN-L@rootsweb.com > > Is there a county surveyor's office?
