Tom, I don't know if this will help you at all, but 2 years ago I paid a visit to the NH Historical Society's genealogy section, where they have, among other things, many unpublished (as well as published, of course) genealogies. As I was looking for a Seavey myself (not yours, however), I poked through this section and found several that named members of Seavey families (various spellings). If you are able to go there, it is a wonderful place with an extensive genealogy collection. (They do charge a daily fee to use the facility, but it is worth it.) The first place to head for is the card catolog of genealogies, most of which were never published but which can be gold mines of potential leads, which you can then research yourself. Most do not give sources--probably they came from family interviews, etc. Be sure to look for spouse surnames in the genealogy catalog, too, as they will likely have information you can use.
