It has been suggested that I was not justified in posting my query regarding Mary Sanborn to the Rockingham list without showing any evidence that my Mary Sanborn was from the Rockingham area [see below]. I made the mistake of assuming that subscribers on this list would realize that I wouldn't post to the Rockingham list unless I had good reason to think that Mary could have been from that area. What I'm seeking is proof. If I get that proof, I will share it. My hypothesis is based on the fact that Mary was born in NH, the Sanborn family has roots in the Rockingham area and my family has roots in the Rockingham area. I apologize for not making this clear.
