Apparently a thread is starting to develop here to carry us off-topic to interesting matters unrelated to Rockingham county, N.H. I didn't step in earlier because at least the original message was about a book that involved a Rockingham town in its title, so, I assume its content, as well. The history of our Rockingham ancestors and cousins is very much on-topic, whether its the food they ate or the clothes they wore, but, PLEASE, let's not get spring-boarded out of focus.
