    3. Hi all I'm relatively new to genealogy (3 and 1/2 months) and LOVE to get anything that might relate. I've learned so much from lists like this one, not just about my lines, which actually has been little, but about the times and the connections of one line to another. I also belong to specific name lists, but don't find them nearly as helpful. There is something about the community that a list like this one has that really appeals to me. I definitely do my share of deleting, but I also do my share of saving. I have, not only specific files for my lines, but also a general Genealogy file, where I save anything that I think might be useful later that doesn't relate specifically to a particular branch. I have been amazed at what I've learned in just this short amount of time. I almost always check out any URL that someone suggests and have LEARNED a lot. Maybe as I grow more knowledgeable, I won't find a list like this so fascinating, but right now, almost anything is interesting to me and I am grateful that someone like Glenn is taking the time to inform and educate me. There, that is my two cents...
