The question: verifying Sidney E. Welch's parents' names and getting the maiden name of his mother. Details: Sidney Welch b. 1861 Derry, NH. Father: Jonathan P. Welch b. 1822 (or 1821) in NH. Mother (Jonathan's wife): Ann or Mary Welch b. (very approximate) early 1830's. I'd love to know what Ann and/or Mary Welch's maiden name was. Any more info. needed, please let me know. Danville, has at least two books in print which have their vital records which with a small bit of research, the publishing companies could be found in order to purchase this information. If the gentleman listing these records wants to keep doing this he might start up his own page about Danville, NH and list the info there. I don't want to sound like the grinch either but it sure would be nice if people would also learn to clean up the note that they are referring to when answering a query. I don't like re-reading a note I read the day before. It is possible to just include the pertainent parts of a previous note and exclude what's not needed.
