I have at least one ancestor that was ex-communicated in Dorchester, MA and removed to the town of Exeter, NH in the early 1600s. My ancestor was Thomas WILSON, who was "ruler" of the town in the early 1600s. Thomas and others that left Dorchester were probably what was referred to as "non-conformists" by the established church in Dorchester. My question: What affiliation was the Church in Exeter that served the non-conformists from the Dorchester Company? thanks, Charles
