Regarding Order of Founders and Patriots, I have another question. I was confused about the qualifications for membership. Does the line of descent have to always be through the male? From my gr-gr-gr-grandfather Hon. Josiah Bartlett, I go to his son Ezra, then to Ezra's son, Stephen Madison, Stephen's son, George Hendree, but then it comes through my mother.
