Hi Sue and Other Listers, I saw your message, and thought I would let you know that Clifford Stott's article has correctly identified Nathaniel Sanborn's second wife as Sarah Waters. If you have read it then you have seen all the evidence. Mr. Stott clearly explains how the confusion over the Nason connection probably came about. Earlier writers were wrong in calling her Sarah Nason for the reasons given in the Stott article. You ask whom Sarah Nason did marry. If you are primarily interested in the Sanborn family and not the Nason family then don't worry about that.
