I am trying to get any and all information about my great grandfather Alexander FISHER. I have: a copy of the page from the 1850 Census that shows him, his wife Susan, 5 children and an older lady named HOLBROOK. I would assume she may be a mother-in-law? I was told Susan FISHER shows up on some death notices in 1855 as death in East Boston but buried in Cotton Cemetery in Portsmouth. I have no records and would like some if available. I was told Andrew FISHER is listed in the Portsmouth city directories for 1850 and 1851 but none after which is consistent with his move to Boston. I will be happy to pay for any photocopies someone could provide. The 1850 census leads me to believe Alexander was born around 1818. My Grandfather's birth certificate lists Portsmouth, NH as place of birth for Alexander. I would like any other records especially if I can get names for a mother and father for Alexander.
