Litchfield is on the E side of the Merrimack River opposite the town of Merrimack, on the E is Londonderry & Nottingham West. Francestown has Deering on the N, on the E is New Boston, on the S is Lyndeborough & Greenfield and on the W is Greenfield. One of my books says Litchfield was incorporated in 1729 the other book says 1749. Hope this helps.
