Dear Baker, I am sorry I have nothing on the Lamprey's. I am just beginning to work on the Andrew Simpson and Elizabeth Patten progenitors for the Simpson's in NH, ME, VT, PA, and OH. Do you happen to have an Elizabeth Lamprey, b. 22 Feb 1790 who married a Rev. Thomas Simpson in Nov, 1809. He worked as a carpenter in Concord, NH, in 1816, he fell, and became crippled for life-afterwards became a Congregational minister. He was a son of Major John Simpson (he was a private during the Rev War, & fired the first shot at the Battle of Bunker Hill-disobeying orders while doing so-sered with honor thereafter and rose to the rank of Major) I have a lot on the Simpson's if you care to have anything. I apologize for not having anything on the Lamprey's[Elizabeth]. I believe this is the same family you are speaking about. I will have your name on file if you would like to share any info. I am going to search the Lamprey family in the near future and will pass on anything that I find. Thank you, Eva -----Original Message----- From: Baker Bledsoe <bbled@worldnet.att.net> To: NHROCKIN-L@rootsweb.com <NHROCKIN-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Thursday, October 29, 1998 6:12 PM Subject: LAMPREY Genealogy >Am looking for information on the LAMPREY family of Hampton, N.H. >descendents of Henry Lamprey, b. ca. 1616, England, settled in Hampton about >1650.
