Hello! I'm looking for information on an Andrew Simpson b. c 1697 and Elizabeth Patten b. c 1700. They lived in Nottingham, Rockingham, NH. They are my gggggg grandparents. Elizabeth was killed by two Indians and is buried in the Square in Nottingham. I have read a rather graphic description of her death by Sabatis and Plautsawa. She is buried there with two men who were also killed the same day in 1753 (approximate). Is there still a Square in Nottingham and is she there? Their grandson and my gggg grandfather Josiah Simpson born c. 1762-63-d. 18 Feb 1837, in Nottingham, Rockingham, NH, was in the Rev War, married a Catherine Kitteridge (variations of that surname!) and came to Meigs Co, OH, in early 1800's with his brother Robert (c. 1764 in Nottingham, Rockingham, NH - Robert married a Miss Lydia Longfellow. I would like to get some information about the Patten.Kitteridge and Longfellow families as I don't know who the parents were or from where they came. I would also like to have information about the Simpson line as well. I have my line down fairly well. I have other information as well that I will be happy to share.
