I live in Kingston, the next town to Exeter. Without really checking, I believe the church in Exeter in 1783 would have been the Congregational Church. The building still stands and the address is Congregational Church, 21 Front St., Exeter, NH 03833 Tel: 603/772-4216. I would also suggest writing to Exeter Historical Society, 47 Front St., Exeter, NH 03833 Tel: 603/778-2335. ---------- > Can anyone tell me the names of the churches that would have been in > Exeter, Rockingham, NH in about 1783.
