I have recently learned that Daniel(4) SMITH of Exeter, NH, m. Polly PICKERING. Daniel was born in Ipswich, MA, on Sept. 2, 1705. He was of Exeter by 1744. They probably married around 1730 as their 6th child, Joseph, was born in Stratham, NH, on April 2, 1742. Daniel was a son of Daniel(3) [Richard2, Richard1] SMITH of Ipswich, MA.
