He may have been a descendant of Samuel Hadley (b. 1746), s/o Samuel3 Hadley & Judith Flanders; Samuel2 Hadley & Dorothy Colby; Samuel1 Hadley & Jane Martin; George Hadley & Mary Proctor. Apparently Samuel Hadley & Judith Flanders moved from Hamphstead, NH to Newbury, Orange Co, NH before the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Do you happen to have any information that would help?
